Servant of the Lake: Stove Cat, Maid & Harvey the Parrot Guide

Open the iron stove so the orange cat exits on its own, then follow Aldous’s note and the wall painting to the hidden laboratory before decoding Harvey’s tag.

  1. 01

    Open the iron stove

    Inspect the service room stove and open its lower door. The orange cat is asleep inside.

  2. 02

    Let the cat leave

    After the door opens, the cat walks out on its own. No fire or Matchbox is required.

  3. 03

    Read Aldous’s note

    Inspect the note left by Aldous on the table. It gives the order of the specific elements to select in the wall painting.

  4. 04

    Open the painting passage

    Click the specified elements in the wall painting in the note’s order. The painting opens to reveal the concealed entrance.

  5. 05

    Enter the correct room

    Aldous’ Secret Alchemy Lab is directly behind the painting wall, not underground. Enter through the painting opening and prepare the potion there.

Puzzle 02 · Harvey the Parrot

Decode the tag and find the bird food

    Inspect Harvey’s perch

    Zoom in on the gray parrot and look beneath the perch at the hanging plaque.

  2. 02

    Record the exact shapes

    Use the original screenshot above and preserve all three symbols in their exact left-to-right order. They are not ordinary keyboard characters.

  3. 03

    Open the wooden box

    Find the locked small wooden box and set its three selectors to match the exact tag shapes shown above.

  4. 04

    Feed Harvey

    Take the bird food from the opened box, return to the perch and pour it into Harvey’s feeding cup.

Visual rule: the tag uses game-specific symbols, so the original gameplay screenshot is the only authoritative answer. No keyboard transcription is used on this guide.
