Alchemy symbol-to-element cipher
The first symbol set describes actions and positions. The second identifies Aldous and the liquid ingredients. Use the original in-game board below as the visual answer: every mark is shown exactly as it appears in the game.
| Board row | First panel meaning | Second panel meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Heat | Water |
| 2 | Aldous | Oil |
| 3 | Left | Blood |
| 4 | Right | Juice |
| 5 | Center | Acid |
Step-by-step solution
Mix Aldous’s alchemy potion
- 01
Read the slider positions
Inspect the laboratory slider and note whether each marker sits at Left, Right or Center. Do not move on until you have recorded the complete sequence.
- 02
Translate each displayed symbol
Match each mark beside the slider directly against the original screenshot above. The first-panel symbols tell you where to read; the second-panel symbols identify what belongs in the beaker.
- 03
Select Aldous’s formula
Use the exact Aldous symbol shown in board row 2 to confirm the formula, then collect the Oil, Acid and Blood reagents.
- 04
Pour the reagents
Add the correct reagent whenever its translated symbol reaches the active slider position. Follow the panel order exactly rather than pouring all three at once.
- 05
Apply heat and finish
When the Heat symbol from board row 1 appears, activate the heater. The completed reaction produces Aldous’s alchemy potion and advances the experiment.
If the mixture fails: reset the apparatus and recheck Left/Center/Right against the screenshot. Those three similar line symbols are the easiest part of the cipher to misread.
